Inspiring Walt Disney: The Animation of French Decorative Arts

If you’re a fan of Disney and anything art related, this exhibition might be right up your street! The Wallace Collection has collaborated with New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art to bring you this magical exhibition that displays American hand-drawn Disney animations from the 20th century alongside the 18th century French art, design and architecture that inspired it. This is a truly fascinating exhibition that reveals the unknown connection between two different artistic movements, and shows us how life was given to some of our favourite Disney animation movies from our childhood.

The exhibition is being displayed at The Wallace Collection in Marylebone and will run until the 16th October 2022. Tickets cost £14 for adults and are free for members and children under 12.
