Place the teeth on the scalp and wiggle small circles in one direction, then reverse with the same number of circles in the opposite direction. Stroking: Brush (stroke) one direction, then reverse. If you have fine or thinning hair, be extra gentle or opt for the other two techniques. Tapping: Just like it sounds — gently tap the teeth of your tool along the targeted area. How to Clean: For at-home use, wash your Lanshin Gua Sha tool with hot, soapy water. If that’s not available, you can also use rubbing alcohol or an essential oil spray. Towel dry, then return it to your Lanshin pouch. Please note, your tool will become very slippery when wet/soapy and it may break if dropped in the sink or on another hard surface. We recommend placing a hand towel or washcloth in the sink basin to absorb the shock in case it’s dropped.
