A LITTLE FINDER: Social Media Micro-Influencer Robyn Nicholl interview
ROBYN'S TOP 3 TIPS ON HOW TO BUILD YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA FOLLOWING
BE ORIGINAL AND AUTHENTIC.
There is so much content on social media right now that to stand out from the crowd, you have to have a clear message and strong pillars of identification. Take some time to really think about what you are trying to say, who you are speaking to, and how you are going to articulate this both visually and through words across all your chosen social media platforms.
Take some time to understand the nuances of each social media platform and how your target audience is engaging with them. Understanding the habits of your audience across your channels will allow you to specifically cater to them when managing your content.
Social Media is not as wishy-washy as everyone thinks – analytics play a HUGE part in the success of a social media account. Switch to a business account (it's free)! And start to use analytics to optimize your content and scheduling, which are both vital in the successful and continued growth of your following and engagement.
ROBYN'S A LITTLE FIND - EQ LOVE
Because I am always travelling to warm destinations, hopefully where I can surf, and swear by organic, natural and eco-friendly solutions to sun-care, EQ Love is a favourite of mine as it's non-ecotoxic on the marine environment.
Did you know that most sunscreens contain chemical filters? When applied to the skin, these filters spread in the water and are highly polluting to the aquatic environment, even at low concentration. When exposed to them, coral reefs turn white and die within 48 hours!
ROBYN'S LITTLE TRAVEL HACK
Pack light and prioritise your skincare and toiletry essentials over everything else. These are always the things that you can’t find or replace whilst on the move in other countries. I have a morning skincare ritual that can’t be broken!
